DRAW WITHOUT BET

The so-called draw bets are now firmly established in the betting program of various bookmakers and are part of their standard repertoire. They are especially popular in soccer betting - download sunbet app. The highlight of this type of bet is easy to explain: in case of a draw, you get your bet back! The draw option is simply not applicable - you can only place bets on one of the two opposing teams. Everything you need to know about no-draw bets, how to find them at the bookmaker of your choice and what strategies are available for this, we want to show you below!

What is a no-bet draw?

No Draw (DNB) bets are equivalent to Asian Handicap 0 (= AHC 0). This is because many bookmakers, especially in the non-European area, draw instead of X with 0 marked. As such, it belongs to the family of Asian handicap betting. In translation, "draw without a bet" means something like "draw - no bet". Because in case of a tie, the bet will be canceled, that is, the bet will be returned to your gaming account. Important: different betting providers use different names for this type of bet, although they are always the same. So it may be that in addition to "no bet" you also come across "no draw", "draw - refund", or the somewhat awkward translation of "draw - bet void", and no distinction can be made here and you are not allow yourself to get upset. The “bet invalid,” in particular, is often confusing. Because of course your sports bet will not be void if there is a tie. In the end, you only get your money back. Everything works as if you have never played a bet.

How does no-bet draw sports betting work?

The Draw - No Betting is eliminated in sports betting on the option in the form of a tie. In this case, all your bets will be returned to your account. With this type of bet, you get a so-called money-back option, which gives you a significant advantage over regular sports betting. This minimization of risk, which is an absolute plus, extends not only to the money back option: since the draw's result no longer applies, you only have two possible outcomes instead of the usual three. 3-way bets are quickly becoming 2-way bets. Thus, the chances of winning are increased and the risk is minimized. As a concrete example, take the Bundesliga game Borussia Dortmund vs Schalke 04:

- BVB win 1.25 | S04 Win 3.60

Let's say you bet € 10 on BVB. There are now three options for the outcome of the bet: If Dortmund wins the match, you will receive 12.50 € - the bet is simply multiplied by the odds as usual. If Schalke wins, you lose your bet and get nothing. In the event of a tie, your tip will be valued at 1.00 by the bookmaker. Your bet is theoretically multiplied by 1, which always means that you get exactly the amount that you bet - in our case, 10 euros. Where there is an advantage, there must be a catch, right? The increased odds of winning naturally affect the odds, which are logically significantly lower in the absence of betting on a draw. Here are the odds for a three-way bet on the same match:

- BVB wins 1.60 | X 4.10 | Victory S04 5.00

How does a no-bet draw work in combined bets?

No sports betting works on the same principle for combination bets as for single bets. In the event of a tie, DNB will settle at 1.00, which means it will actually be removed from your coupon - as if you had never played it. However, this will not void your combo bet! It is also not automatically lost as a result. It does not matter if your combo bet consists solely of no-bet draw bets or you only include a hint for this type of bet. The functionality remains the same. Here's an example. Let's say you made a 3-way express bet. There are two betting tips, and the third - DNB - ends in a draw. That way, even if only two of the three tips are correct, you still get a plus. In this supposed example, your profit adds up as follows:

- Tip A odds 1.85 | B odds 1.60 | Quota C (DNB) 1.00
- Total odds 2.96 (1.85 x 1.60 x 1.00)
- Rate 10 euros
- Profit 29.60 euros | Net profit 19.60 euros.
